This wooden boxcar was built around 1925 and was eventually converted into a supply car for Southern Pacific maintenance-of-way crews. The air-conditioning unit mounted on one end of the car, the radio antenna mounted at the sliding side door, and the doors cut into each end of the car are evidence of the modifications made in the transformation of the railway workhorse.
