The F-4 Phanton fighter jet was the primary fighter jet aircraft used during the Vietnam war, It was used by both the Navy and the Air Force to support militaty operations in the Southeast Asia theater.
Mama Blaster served with several Vietnam-era F-4 pilots, one of whom had a chest full of medals that frankly shocked and awed us. We had no idea this particular Navy Commander was such a highly-decorated war hero.
