The area is well-maintained, with lots of trees, picnic tables (one is sheltered), and garbage cans for your convienence. It is a relatively popular dog park with lots of regulars. Running water is available. Poop bags are sometimes available but bring your own just in case. The area is not fenced, so if your dog has a tendency to bolt then this may not be the best park for you. It's bordered on two sides by bushes and trees, and the other side by the parking area. In addition to the off-leash area, the park is host to numerous hiking trails, some leading to the Willamette river. So leash up your dog and go exploring!
