This is an Italian restaurant, no doubt about it. Hence, tomatoes and garlic, pasta and pesto are staples here. Though I didn't expect it, I noted 10 different choices on the
pasta menu alone that are either gluten free as prepared or can be prepared as gluten free.
And great choices they are. Here are some examples:
• Stuffed Prosciutto Wrap
• Seafood Fettuccini
• Smoked Gouda & Shrimp Mostaccioli
• Shrimp Aragosta
• Aunt Rosa’s Pasta
• Steak Myzithra
• Manila Clams With Angel Hair
And of course there are more, in the salads menu, the appetizers menu, and elsewhere.
Being garlic lovers, we tried the "Build Your Own Pizza" with garlic infused crust. These people really know how to make pizza. One thing they're justifiably proud of is their wood-fired brick-oven cooking, which imparts both a sense and a flavor reminiscent of the old world.
As well as the dining room, they have a bar with several TVs, for those "can't miss" games, whether they be Basketball, football, baseball or hockey. It would be remiss to not mention that they have patios for alfresco dining in the non winter months. The place just wouldn't be Italian without that.
