The S.S. Amelia Gingerbread Pirate Ship measures 17 feet long by 12 feet high. It is inspired by the Mexican Congress, the vessel of privateer Luis Aury, who ruled Amelia Island briefly in the 19th century. The gingerbread pirate ship features an edible gingerbread cannon armed with chocolate cannonballs and a chest filled with candied treasure.

Fun Fact: There are 3,000 eggs in the recipe for the gingerbread pirate ship, which would take a dozen hens a year to lay.
