We were returning home from a jaunt to Spokane on October 30th, 2016 when we noticed this rotating sign pointing the way to the casino, and noticed it was also a time and temperature sign. It was getting dark so we captured this at a most opportune time.
Chewelah Casino is a well established casino owned and operated by The Spokane Tribe of Indians of the Interior Salish Group. Also known as the Children of the Sun, they have inhabited northeast Washington, northern Idaho and western Montana for many centuries.
