První zmínka o pivovarnictví v Jihlave je r. 1348. R. 1859 byly zrušeny v meste poslední 4 malé pivovary a spolecný moderní Iglauer Mälzerschaft Brauerei byl otevren 4. dubna 1861. Po r. 1948 byl znárodnen, dnes patrí pivovarnické skupine K Brewery.

The first record of brewing in Jihlava is from 1348. 1859 were closd last 4 small breweries and in 1860 modern Iglauer Mälzerschaft Brauerei was builed. Opened was April 4, 1861. It was nationalized in 1948, today it is part of brewing group K Brewery.
