This specific marker describes the occupation of the STASI headquarters in Leipzig and its significantly placed in front of the premises, known as the "Runde Ecke" (The round corner). The events took place on the 4th December 1989. It was a memorable moment, marked not only by this panel but also by the opening of the STASI museum right in the building.
