EN: This former public bath and establishment is located just outside of St. Johanns Tor on the corner of the park. It was originally used to offer the lower classes the opportunity to practice regular personal care with shower or tub baths.

The building was created in 1905 by Theodor Hünerwadel in historical style as a small castle with towers and various extensions. Today there is a youth center in the house.

DE: Diese ehemalige öffentliche Bad- und Waschanstalt befindet sich gleich ausserhalb des St. Johannstors am Rand des Parks. Es diente ursprünglich dazu, den ärmeren Bevölkerungsschichten mit Dusch- oder Wannenbädern die Möglichkeit zu regelmäßiger Körperpflege zu bieten.

Das Gebäude wurde 1905 von Theodor Hünerwadel im historisierenden Stil als kleines Schlösschen mit Türmen und verschiedenen Anbauten erstellt. Heute ist in dem Haus ein Jugendtreffpunkt eingerichtet.
