"Originally built in 2002, Washington Regional Medical Center completed in 2008 a $64 million expansion that included a new fifth floor with a chapel, expanded Emergency Department, Pat Walker Center for Seniors, Center for Support Services and expanded kitchen and pharmacy. The hospital is also home to the Johnelle Hunt Women's Center, the Walker Heart Institute and the Total Joint Center.
