On the road east out of the village, nearly opposite Hilltop Farm,on the corner of a field lane. The building is Grade 11 listed.

Th walls are of brick, 2ft 4ins thick and 4ft 2 ins high with a plain brick coping. The height was reduced on reconstruction and originally would be 7-8ft as at neighbouring villages of Screveton and Scarrington. These three pinfolds have great similarity and may well have been constructed by the same builder probably in the early 19th century.

The opening is 4ft 6ins wide with square brick piers. There is a four bar wooden gate. The ground is covered with well kept gravel.

There is a seat opposite, across the road with some pleasing views.

There is a small plaque commemorating the restoration of the pinfold by the Parish Council in Silver Jubilee Year of HM The Queen 1977.

As a footnote a Pinder was elected in Flintham up to the 2nd World War
Approximate dimensions: Round 18ft 6ins diameter

Condition: Well preserved or restored
