The circular concrete water tower is supported by 4 concrete legs. Everything is painted white and the logo for the Alice High School, a wolf, is painted on the side of the tank along with "Coyotes" in black.
I didn't realize that the water tower is also a benchmark -

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1935 (CIA) POINT OBSERVED UPON IS BASE OF LIGHT BRACKET, ON TOP AND CENTER OF TANK, MUNICIPAL WATER TANK, LOCATED ON SIDE OF TEXAS AND MEXICAN RAILROAD TRACKS ON E SIDE OF TOWN. TANK IS CONCRETE AND ABOUT 100 FEET HIGH. OBSERVED UPON FROM STATIONS TWELVE, SAN DIEGO, BOOK, SOTO, ALICE MAGNETIC STATION, ALICE 1904, AND ALICE W BASE 1899.

RECOVERY NOTE BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1953 (HSC) THE STATION IS A CONCRETE TANK MOUNTED ATOP A FOUR LEGGED CONCRETE TOWER. IT IS LOCATED IN THE CENTRAL PART OF ALICE, 130 FEET SOUTH OF MAIN STREET AND 100 FEET EAST OF ALMOND STREET. THE TOP OF THE STRUCTURE IS APPROXIMATELY 130 FEET HIGH.
