EN: The block of houses northwest of the Wettsteinplatz form an irregular pentagon around an inner yard. The area was overbuilt by Rudolf Linder after 1888 on his own account. The predominantly two-or three-storey houses are mainly in late classical tradition, with the exception of the four houses of the last phase of construction at the Grenzacherstrasse that clearly bear the mark of Visscher van Gaasbeek, who had meanwhile entered Linder's construction company.
This group of houses is one of the few large ensembles of Linder and Visscher van Gaasbeek that are preserved in its original condition without major impairments.
DE: Das Häusergeviert nordwestlich des Wettsteinplatzes bilden ein unregelmässiges Fünfeck um einen Innenhof. Das Gebiet wurde von Rudolf Linder ab 1888 auf eigene Rechnung überbaut. Die vorwiegend zwei- bis dreistöckigen Häuser stehen hauptsächlich in Spätklassizistischer Tradition, mit Ausnahme der vier Häuser der letzten Bauphase an der Grenzacherstrasse, die eindeutig die Handschrift Visscher van Gaasbeeks tragen, der inzwischen in Linders Baufirma eingetreten war.
Diese Häusergruppe ist eine der wenigen grossen Ensembles von Linder und Visscher van Gaasbeek, die ohne grösseren Beeinträchtigungen im Original zustand erhalten sind.
