This is similar, in design, to many other "you are here" maps in London. It is mounted on a tall black pillar with the map in a central location. The map is "heads-up" as opposed to "north-up" so the top of the map represents the locations ahead and the bottom those behind.
Above the map is a list of local locations with arrows indicating their directions from the location and time, in minutes, to walk there. Down the side of the map is the name of the street where the map is located. Below the map is a legend that indicates:
- Public Toilets
- Library
- Musuem
- Hotel
- Off Street Parking
- Underground Stations
- Railway Stations
- Docklands Light Railway
- Churches
- Synagogues
- Places of Interest
The map shows the streets in the area with their names. Symbols, relating to the legend, are also shown with the name of the feature
