EN: Inselschulhaus is located in Klybeck quarter in the north of Basel. The house was built after plans by Theodor Hünerwadel (1864-1956). Construction began in 1906, then the project was delayed by a strike, so that it could only be completed in 1908.
Inschelschulhaus was originally a boys' secondary school; today it is used as a primary school.
DE: Das Inselschulhaus befindet sich im Klybeckquartier im Norden von Basel. Das Gebäude wurde nach Entwürfen von Theodor Hünerwadel (1864-1956) gebaut. Nach dem Baubeginn 1906 wurde das Projekt durch einen Streik verzögert, so dass es erst 1908 abgeschlossen werden konnte.
Das Inschelschulhaus war ursprünglich eine Knabensekundarschule; heute wird es als Primarschule genutzt.
