DUSSAULT, Meg (Buckley)
"A pure light to those who loved her"
Beloved wife and best friend to Paddy Dussault. Meg was suddenly and tragically taken on Tuesday, July 30, 2013. In addition to her husband Paddy, she leaves behind her much-loved Irish Wolfhound, Dempsey. Meg was the precious daughter of Kathleen (nee Shaw) and the late Charles Buckley. She is the dear sister of Fran Spekkens (Paul), Mary Buckley (Anthony Thompson), the late James Buckley (Sue), Joseph Buckley (Brigitte Richard), Daniel Buckley (Teresa), and Kathleen Buckley (Kevin Mohr). Cherished aunt of Kristine Spekkens (Nick), James Spekkens (Stephanie), Monica Spekkens, Stephen (Megan), Andy, Jessica, Sara, Jason, James, Jack and Bryan Buckley and stepaunt of Sarah and Stephanie Thompson, and Taylor and Alex Richard, and Marcello Mohr. Great aunt of Ella, Charlie, Evangeline, Dylan and MacKenzie. Meg was part of a large Irish-Catholic family and she married into another. She will always live in loving memory of David and Janet Dussault (Saykaly), Steve Dussault, Madeleine Duhamel, Peter and Eileen Lonergan (Dussault), Jamie and Karen Crawford (Dussault). She was the adored aunt of Patrick and Ali Dussault (Wener), Elizabeth Dussault; Ryan, Christopher and Marie-Claude Dussault; Gwyneth (Lonergan) and James Stephenson, Liam Lonergan, Katie (Lonergan) and Finn McConnell; Michelle, Casey and Nicole Crawford. She is the great aunt of Tea & Cole Dussault and Eva Stephenson. Meg's career started with Bell Canada where she did everything from climbing utility poles, to installations, to sales and marketing. After 15+ successful years at Bell, Meg decided she wanted to pursue a career with Cognos. Meg found a true home at Cognos where she thrived because of the culture, the people and the myriad business challenges. While at Cognos, Meg was mentored by some of the most accomplished business leaders, and in turn, Meg was given the opportunity to mentor others. The lasting friendships Meg made through Cognos enriched and shaped her life. Friends may pay respects at the
