McDougall House

This cabin was built in the 1860s by John McDougall, a skilled guide and fur trader. He was born at Fort Garry in 1827. John settled in the valley after he retired from the service of the Hudson's Bay Co.

The cabin is a simple pioneer dovetail cedar log vernacular structure.

It was moved to the Father Pandosy site in 1968 from its original location on Guisachan Ranch.
