We were there in early September and the garden produce looked tempting. Still lush and green and well maintained. The community garden was dedicated June 22, 2012.
There are 27 garden beds and the plot lease fee is $30.00 a season with a $30.00 maintenance deposit.

New McDonald Park Community Garden
Kamloops, B.C. - The City of Kamloops in partnership with Interior Community Services is proud to announce the brand new Kamloops Showcase Community Garden at McDonald Park. Kamloops Community Gardens are fenced subdivisions of land sectioned into individualized plots enabling people to grow and eat healthy, nutritious foods at a low cost. Plots are available for residents to grow their own vegetables and socialize with other gardeners. Water is supplied; gardeners only need to supply their own equipment and seeds.
The plot lease fee is $30.00 a season with a $30.00 maintenance deposit.
