From the intersection with FR370 near Three Creek Lake, south of Sisters, travel generally S on FR16 for 0.9 mile. Park and hike generally S on the Tam McArthur Rim Trail for 1.0 mile to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2" aluminum cap on 1/2" rebar in a ring of stones; rising 3"
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?: At the wooden wilderness boundary sign, leave the trail and go about 920' E to the corner. Aside from a wood lath stake, there is a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign mounted on a U-post, which bears SSW, 7' distant from the corner. In the NE quadrant, found a blazed lodgepole pine with a yellow BEARING TREE tag and a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the reverse side.
