L'ancre a été récupéré en 1983 par une équipe de plongée local. Il provient d'un bateau naufragé, le Cimba. C'était un bateau de pêche norvégien qui a été perdu en juillet 1915 dans l'anse de St. Augustin, un mille à l'ouest du phare.
The anchor was salvaged in 1983 by a local diving team. It comes from the shipwrecked Cimba, a Norwegian fishing boat that was lost in July 1915. The boat was beached in St.Augustin cove, about one mile west of the lighthouse.
