This memorial honors men and women whose remains were never recovered. The obelisk-shaped memorial is mounted on a five-sided stone base that features the engraved seals of each branch of the armed forces. One side of the obelisk displays the Great Seal of the United States, with the main text of the monument engraved on the opposite side. Adjacent sides list the names of men that were missing in action in the Korean War and the Vietnam War. The names listed:
