visit link) Lt. Cantrell was the pilot of U.S. Army Air Corps B-24D Liberator #42-40139, serving with the 380th Bomb Group, 530th Bomb Squadron. He and his co-pilot were killed in a crash, fifteen miles north of Biggs Field, El Paso, TX.
