The CND Peace Sign used at the center of this monument, in this field is the most common peace sign after the Olive Branch & the Dove.
A vertical metal CND peace logo stands on a white painted logo on the ground. There are metal plaques, signs, & benches, all laser cut with text proclaiming Peace. The whole art work is laid out in the shape of a giant Peace Logo, which is only apparent when viewed from the Air or Satellite.
Peace Sign
"the anti-nuclear emblem or the peace sign is one of the most widely known symbols in the world. It was invented on the request of lord Bertrand Russel, head of the British 'campaign for nuclear disarmament' or CND and sponsor of mass marches and sit-downs in London. The symbol is a combination of the semaphore signals for the letters "N" and "D," standing for "nuclear disarmament". text Source: (
