The late-Gothic municipal palace called the Templ was built in around 1490 and served the purpose of a residence of the Boleslav estate’s “hetman” (commissioner). In addition to the gallery premises, a multimedia archaeological exposition containing exhibits relating to the town’s older history, before the year 1600, was opened on the mystical premises of the medieval palace. You can return to times immemorial on the ramparts.
