Bull Moose is a large bronze sculpture placed by Osoyoos Mountain Estates at the entrances to their featured properties. Bull Moose is very well executed and is displayed on large rocks. He is resting and watching the coming and goings of passersby. The sculpture was created by an unknown artist. We have passed these sculptures on several occasions and they were most likely placed about 2011.
The Bull Moose is the largest living member of the deer family. The bull moose can reach 600 kg. They have a black coat; long, stilt-like legs for wading through deep snow; a humped back; and a long face with an overhanging upper lip, large ears and a dewlap of skin (bell) hanging from the throat.
