The Museum of Art and Whimsy - A fun place to visit & its free. Located at 2121 N Tamiami Trail. You cant miss it as you drive North on the Trail, the 10 feet tall, 1,100 pound, day-glow Flamingos, are your clue, to your destination.
Five weldment lifesize sculptures of a family of pink flying pigs, displayed in the center of the sculpture garden, of the Marietta Museum of Art & Whimsy. The Silhouette flying pigs are made from powder coated steel. The artwork is typical of sculptor Frederick Prescott, and dedicated on March 5th 2013.
The pigs do not really fly, but the heads of all of Prescott's sculptures are free to move. The heads if pushed, will rock gently for a minute or so.
If you look at 'Pink Psycho pig' you will notice the head in different positions. I have also posted a photo of the bearing mechanism.
