The Stirling-Rawdon Public Library was made possible due in part to a $5000- grant received from the Carnegie Foundation in 1914. The building was designed by architect William Austin Mahoney.
The building served as the main library in Stirling until 1989, when a new addition was built adjacent to the old one. This building became the main Stirling Library and the original building became an annex and offices for the Stirling Historical Society.
The library features a full range of services, including wifi.
