When one is in this camp it's quite easy to make oneself believe that civilization is dozens of miles away. In actuality the camp is only 100 metres from the nearest houses on the southern edge of the town of Fruitvale. Beaver Creek, a pretty good size for a creek, runs through the camp and forest surrounds it.
The camp includes rustic cabins, winterized washroom building, a winterized mess hall for 120, with full kitchen and a large event barbecue. There are many tenting areas in the main camp and across the creeks in the wilderness sites. Cabins sleep 80 youth and 20 adults. Beaver Creek and Kelly Creek divide the property into three areas.
