Here were buried most of first
settlers in Temple including Rev.
Samuel Webster, Patriot-Preacher;
Francis Blood-Moses Child
whom Gen. Washington sent on
spy mission to Nova Scotia -
Ebenezer Edwards who fought
at Concord Bridge -
First Burial 1772
