The white carved stone font has eight sides. Cover is of ornate carved wood.

Font was moved to this small chapel in 1943, which is situated just inside and to the left of the doors. Church was completed in 1843, and consecrated by the Archbishop of York on Whit Monday the same year.

Church is open to visitors every Monday from 10.30am until 2.30pm.
