From Smithsonian Art Inventory:
"Three elongated, somewhat abstract female figures sit on a tall bench, their arms animated. The center figure has short hair and places her arms around the figures on either side. The figure on the proper left has a pony-tail and lifts both arms in the air behind her. The figure on the proper right has shoulder-length hair. Her proper right arm is raised behind her, and her proper left hand rests on the back of the bench. The sculpture is placed in the center of a 'friendship circle,' surrounded by a cement walkway and benches."
The sculpture was commissioned in celebration of Cottey College's Centennial. The sculpture is well-maintained by the college.
