"Historic Function: Commerce/Trade
Historic Function Remarks: The 1912 Sanborn map documents this building as one story, wood frame with a barber shop. The 1927 Sanborn map simply notes a store occupying the building. Both maps show the rear part of the building used as a furniture warehouse.

Present Function Remarks: [J. Ramirez's] Jasmin restaurant (Chinese and Mexican food) has been at this location since 2000. Previous food and beverage businesses were The Pub (1997-? owned by Greg and Gayle Daniels of Lawrence, and 1985-1997 by Darrell Kahle), [Dan Strimple's and Larry Sanders'] The Pub bar (1982-1984), and Jim's Bar and Grill (1970s-1980s).

Marker is located on the left side of the building. Text of the marker reads:
719 MAIN STREET
The current structure at 719 Main dates to the early 20th century. In the building's early days, it was used as a barber shop and a furniture warehouse. In the last several decades, the building has been home to numerous restaurants, most notably Jasmin's.
Signage for historic buildings along Main Street was developed by the Eudora Area Historical Society in 2012. Funding was provided by the Douglas County Heritage Conservation Council. The Kansas Historic Resources Inventory was consulted for the content of the signs.
