A nice city hall in a small park. The city hall is a large building with stucco walls. A sign outside informs visitors it's the city hall.
The city of Taft is located in the southwest of Kern County. It's known for its oil and its replica of Sutter's fort. The city was incorporated in 1910. Its population was 9,327 in 2010.
