Took the bus to Seattle and stayed at the Red Lion Hotel that is close to the Rainier Tower.
The Rainier Tower has an unusual appearance, being built atop an 11 story, 37 m (121 ft) concrete pedestal base that tapers towards ground level, like an inverted pyramid.
This is by far the most interesting building I photographed.
