The Marksburg is a castle above the town of Braubach in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is one of the principal sites of the UNESCO World Heritage Rhine Gorge. It can be seen from the river Rhine and is often photographed by tourists.
On January 2, 2015, a stamp of the Marksburg with the value of 62 Eurocents was issued as part of a new stamp series on German castles.
