An unusual eight sided peace pole is located off Biscayne Blvd. in Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami, FL.

In a landscaped area in the center of a small grove of palm trees there is an eight sided white wooden peace pole with 15 clear Lucite plaques. Each side of the peace pole has two plaques. Let Peace Prevail On Earth written on the plaques, in black script, in various languages. One plaque, above the Creole language plaque, seems to be missing.
