July 1: Arrived on the field with Early's Division. Moved into Battery on north side of Rock Creek. Opened an effective fire on Union Infantry on south side of the creek. Ceased fireing as the Confederate Infantry Advanced.
July 2: Took position of the day before. Remained until 3pm. Ordered to report on the York Road and remained until the morning of 3d. Not engaged.
July 3: Moved nearer the town and remained until night. Ordered to the Wagon Park to move with train to the rear.
