Beachcomber Park, a one-acre site that provides off-beach parking, is within walking distance of the larger Frank Rendon Park. Beachcomber also offers a playground, fitness stations, bicycle rack and gazebo. The park does not have restrooms. Completed in 2009, it was partially financed by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and Volusia County. This Park, along with Andrinopoulos Park, is intended to be one of first of two trailheads along a recreational trail planned in the city. It includes eco-friendly features such as recycled building materials and native plants
