Cet immeuble est connu sous le nom d'ancien théâtre du Palais-Royal ou ancienne Comédie. Il a été construit en 1732-1733 par l'architecte Thomas Lainé. La façade est ornée de quatre pilastres d'ordre ionique supportant un entablement avec fronton triangulaire et une balustrade avec quatre vases décoratifs. Le fronton abrite une tête d'Apollon radiée. La façade a été restaurée en 1978-1979.
