Long Description:

The Seminar buildings were constructed in 1941 as three distinct classroom buildings separated by courtyards, at a cost of $80,000. Charles W. Hawkins (1864-1958) was professor of ancient languages at Florida Southern College from December 1935 to 1957. Hawkins authored the current Florida Southern College Alma Mater.

The Seminar buildings were re-configured in the 1960s and now house college business offices.
