Mapparium - "Sexy" - Boston, MA - Literary Sites on Waymarking.com

In Jhumpa Lahiri's short story, "Sexy", Miranda and the married man, she is seeing (Dev) visit the Mapparium. They even experiment with the whispering gallery. Miranda looks at the map wondering where in India Dev's wife is currently visiting.
At the end of the story, as the affair ends, Miranda revisits the Mapparium...but it is closed. She buys a cup of coffee and sits on a nearby bench to think about things.
The story appears in Jhumpa Lahiri's collection, "Interpreter of Maladies".
