The Town of Olds Cemetery is located just south of Olds on the west side of Highway 2A, the Olds Cemetery is owned and maintained by the Town of Olds.

The Field of Honour is within the Town of Olds Cemetery honouring their veterans. At the front of the Field of Honour is a Cross of Sacrifice dedicated July 1, 1998 and the veterans' columbarium was dedicated July 1, 2002 by the Royal Canadian Legion, Olds Branch #105. There are approximately 150 gravesites within this section of the cemetery. In one of the veterans' section the gravemarkers are mostly flush to the ground. There are also more traditional upright granite headstones within the Field of honour.
There are two cemeteries in Olds. The Town of Olds Cemetery is the largest with an area of about 20 acres and located in Mountain View County. There are over 3,500 interments including Veterans located in the Field of Honour.
The population of Olds, in 2014, was 8,617. Established in 1890, the town was named after George Olds a CPR traffic manager.
