Waterloo Bridge is the site of a scene at the end of Tim Parks' novel "Loving Roger".

Tim Parks' novel "Loving Roger" opens with the narrator Anna explaining that she has just killed her lover, Roger. The rest of the novel flashed back to the events leading to the murder. At the very end, Anna. goes to Waterloo Bridge and throws Roger's hat (which she had been wearing) into the river as she contemplates suicide.
