In Portland, along Park Avenue, is Hadlock Field, a baseball stadium that is home to the Portland Sea Dogs.

The stadium is located west of the center of Portland, and is near I-295. It is on the north side of Park Avenue. When a game is not in session, you may be able to park by the stadium. But if there is a game scheduled, you may have to park elsewhere in one of several lots - little parking is available at the stadium.

The stadium is a medium-sized structure with brick outer walls. The grandstand extents down both the first and third base lines. There is also a kind of bleacher section off right field. Behind home plate is a closed in section for the media. Under the grandstands are the food booths and Hall of Fame. The field includes a smaller version of Fenway Park's Green Monster - this one is called the "Maine Monster."

The Portland Sea Dogs is a Single A Minor League professional baseball team, affiliated with the Major League team, Boston Red Sox. The stadium is named after Edson Hadlock Jr., baseball coach at Portland High School from 1950-1978.
