The Arthur L Mann Memorial Library is a medieval castle like building constructed entirely of fieldstone. It was dedicated in 1926 and still serves as a library. It was designed by a Lewiston architectural firm Gibbs and Pulsifer. The library was a gift from Lewis M Mann in memory to his son Arthur.

A meeting of local residents in 1889 established the West Paris Library Association. It was a subscription based library which charged its members an annual fee. In 1925 it became a free public library.
