This building is currently the home of the Theater of the Republic - a repertory company. The building had a fire in the early nineties and was converted to a live stage. .

(ca. 1940) This two-story brick and stucco Art Deco theater was used as a commercial motion picture theater until the early 1980's; it features four fluted pilasters, triple segmented second-story facade and an original marquee which wraps around the facade. Though the interior was burned and gutted in 1990, the facade contributes to the character of the district.
