EN: The milk platform and the transformer substation of Rodersdorf are right next to each other west of the church of Rodersdorf. These two symbols of rural progress in the early 20th century look well maintained, maybe they were built at the same time. I do not know, what the milk platform today is used for; the transformer station might even still be active, at least it has a mark of the power company at the door, however, there are no more overhead lines.
DE: Das Milchhäuschen und die Transformatorenstation von Rodersdorf stehen gleich nebeneinander westlich der Kirche von Rodersdorf. Diese beiden Symbole ländlichen Fortschritts im frühen 20. Jahrhundert sehen gut unterhalten aus, sie könnten gleichzeitig entstanden sein. Wozu das Milchhäuschen heute verwendet wird, ist mir nicht bekannt; der Transformator könnte sogar noch aktiv sein, es hat jedenfalls noch eine Markierung der Elektrizitätsgesellschaft an der Tür, allerdings gibt es keine Freileitungen mehr.
