This work is one of dozens pieces by Icelandic artist Ásmundur Sveinsson for whom the adjacent Museum is named.This 1934 marble sculpture depicts a nude man...standing but hunched over a bit as he looks at the sky...apparently looking at something ominous in the weather since the title "Vedurspamadur" is translated (no doubt erroneously) as The weather was savings are".
