From the parking lot at the outskirts of Dörnberg you can reach many hiking trails in the "Habichtswald" with scenic overlooks and old basalt formations. You can also use the "Kassel-Steig" to reach the world heritage site "Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe" and the "Herkules" from here.
