EN: The Villa Stephani is located at the southern outskirts of Niederdorf in a slightly elevated park. This elegant country house was built in 1907 for the watch manufacturer Albert Buser-Weber.
The villa is in both, the building structure and the interior, a remarkably well-preserved example of the historicism of the turn of the 19th century. It contains elements of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque style, and turns them into a entity.
DE: Die Villa Stephani befindet sich am südlichen Dorfrand von Niederdorf etwas erhöht in einem Park. Das herrschaftliche Wohnhaus wurde 1907 für den Uhrenfabrikanten Albert Buser-Weber erbaut.
Die Villa ist sowohl in der Bausubstanz als auch in der Innenausstattung ein bemerkenswert gut erhaltenes Exemplar des Historismus des ausgehenden 19. Jahrhunderts. Es enthält Elemente aus Gotik, Renaissance und Barock, die aber zu einer Einheit werden.
